It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hovannes Avakyan on 10th June 2022.
A loving Husband, Father, and an amazing Grandfather, who meant so much to so many and loved by all.
A wrought and cast-iron steel fabricator who created beautifully detailed craftmanship work that are all across London and abroad.
Hovannes was born in Istanbul, on 3rd February 1957 and came to London in 1975 at the young age of 18.
He loved his community and made beautiful wrought iron pieces for the Armenian Church.
He will always be remembered and especially as a strong person, courageous and full of great character and determination who always thought of others.
Always in our hearts. May He Rest in Peace!

The Funeral service took place on Monday, 11th July 2022 at 12.00 noon at St Yeghiche Armenian Church, 13b Cranley Gardens, London SW7 3BB, followed by Interment at 2:00 pm at Bedfont Cemetery, Bedfont Road, Feltham TW14 8BF.
