The Armenian tradition has a wealth of teachings, which as a parish we seek to make more widely available to the faithful, especially those who do not understand Armenian. We have a parish library and support the Diocese in the diocesan library also.
St Yeghiche Armenian Church seeks to produce translations of Armenian as well as articles explaining key issues of the faith. As well as the Bible, the Armenian Church benefits from many holy writers within our tradition which continue to enrich our faith. The principal spiritual works used by the Armenian faithful are the 24 Havadov Khostovanim (‘I confess with faith’) daily prayers by St Nerses IV Shnorhali, and the book of prayers ‘Speaking with God from the depths of the heart’ of St Gregory of Narek.
