Holy Sacraments

Discover the sacred sacraments and their significance in our spiritual journey.

Marriage

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” — Ephesians 5:31

Baptism

“I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” — Ezekiel 36:25-26

Chrismation

This Sacrament brings a new “Pentecost” to each individual, since it makes the newly baptized to receive the Holy Spirit.

Penance

Confession and contrition are required for a believer to be freed from his/her sins committed following the days and years after being a full-fledged member of the church.

Ordination

“The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: ‘You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.’” — Psalm 110:4

Anointing of the Sick

“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” — James 5:14-15
